Anthony Dwayne Simmons, 52, passed away on April 27, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1972, to Bobby Moore and Deloise Simmons. He received his education in East St. Louis School District 189. Je was the missing father figure for many of his nieces and nephews. Among those preceding him in death were his father and brother Bobby Simmons. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Deloise Simmons of Louisville; sons, Anthony Simmons  Jr. and Malik Simmons of St. Louis, MO, and Russell Simmons; daughters, Stina Simmons (Dre) of St. Louis, Terraine Simmons and Tela Simmons of East St. Louis, IL, Renicka Simmons and Annette Simmons of Rockford, IL; sisters, brother, Joe (Denise) Simmons of St. Charles, MO; sisters, Linnie Anderson of Collinsville, IL, , Deloise Simmons, and Deborah Simmons (Abdur-Raham) of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1508 W. Magazine St, in Louisville on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 12 noon.
