Benjamin met his soul mate and love of his life at an early age. Josephine (Johnson) Holloway became his wife in 1971, and they truly represented God’s covenant of marriage for 54 years before God called him home. Their union was blessed with two daughters who made Benjamin very proud. Angelique excelled in academics and was crowned Ms. Pittsburg in 1996. Christi followed in her dad’s footsteps and served her country in the US. Marines. She spent eight incredible years with four being active duty and four being inactive reserves. Benjamin was not only a leader in his home, he excelled in glorifying God’s kingdom as well as being an outstanding mentor for his daughters throughout their entire lives. Benjamin’s daughters are the epitome of service to their parents, God’s kingdom and enhancing the lives of others. They both were amazing caregivers for their Dad right up to the moment God called him Home.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Terri K. (Holloway) Bell, Kent F. Holloway, and Anthony Holloway. They are all reunited again.
Benjamin leaves to mourn his incredible wife, Josephine Holloway; two beautiful daughters, both of whom were “Daddy’s girls”, Angelique Holloway and Christi Holloway. Benjamin was known for his kind spirit and love for his family. He also leaves to mourn one remaining sibling, Cathy Holloway Hill Cospy (Antonio), a host of nieces, nephews, and family, friends, and supporters.
