Charlene Elise Gober, 66, passed away on March 28, 2023. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
Charlene leaves to mourn her death her daughter Sylvia Ophelia Denise Gober; her sister, Jean Crystal Gober-Allen; her nephew, Kenneth Young Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; her niece, Antionette Hunt/Kendrick Bailey; and her great-nieces and nephews, Kendrick Bailey Jr., Denver Bailey, Adrian Bailey, and Brooklyn Bailey. On her maternal side, she leaves her uncle Charles Hunter and Patricia Bates. On her paternal side, she leaves her uncle Vernon Gober and Omega Gober. She also leaves behind a huge host of relative family members and friends.
