Charles Russell Wright, Sr., 60, passed away on August 27, 2024. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, September 7, 2024 at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday also at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Chatisha Wright-Steele (David), Latasha Wright and Shanice Thompson; sons, Charles Russell Wright Jr. (Desharae), Tre’Von Wright; grandchildren, Tyree Thomas, LaTyah Steele, Tyshawn and Tyliyah Williams, Ka’Miyah and Keontre Wright, Shayla Thompson, Mikiyah, Mikayla, Tre’Von Wright. Mother Anna Pool; step-mother, Cathy Wright; brothers: George Wright Sr. (Larice) and Gerry Wright (Tavane); sister, Donna Wright Moore; step-sister, Nichelle Pool and Nikki Schumpert; best friend/brother, Robert Crawford; and a host of other relatives and friends.
