Chauncey Lamont “Tootum” Marsh of Louisville, KY passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 of natural causes. Chauncey was born in Louisville to Connie R. Marsh and Robert L. Bowen on April 20, 1967. He has accepted Christ as his personal lord and savior. A die-hard Louisville Cardinal and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, you rarely saw Chauncey without his team gear. He attended both Seneca and Fairdale High Schools in Louisville. He created friends as family wherever he went, including several of the bowling houses in Louisville, and Indiana. He worked as a cook in several well-known restaurants around Louisville with O’Charley’s and Captain’s Quarters being the most recent. When he was not cooking or cheering on his team with family and friends, you could find him on the fishing lake or online gaming with friends.
Chauncey was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Bowen. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Connie R. Marsh; father figure William Ingram; sisters Rayona Mobley and Candice Waller (Shamon); daughter Brittney Brown; son Chauncey Marsh Jr.; son Shaun Marsh; daughter Brandy Brown; daughter Chaunae Brown; son Chauncey M. Marsh; Step children Shawn Brown and Tiara Brown; 9 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
