He is survived by his wife Jeannette Thomas; children, Eula Fox, Durlene Thomas, Dexter Ann Ross, Jeanette Thomas, Vonda Thomas, Berthea Brents, Alisia Hazard, Dexter Brooks, James Thomas, Stephen Thomas, and Kevin Thomas; 31 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Noon Friday with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
