Evelyn Marie Brown, 69, passed away on January 25, 2023. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at St. James Church, 3535 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment: Green Meadows Cemetery.
Born to the late Milton Harris and Frances Watkins, she was raised by her Aunt Clara Evelyn Watkins. She graduated from Male High School and attended St. James Evangelical and Reformed Church. An employee by UPS, she was a fan of the Louisville Cardinals basketball team and Green Bay Packers.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her son De’Andre Watkins, brothers Frank English, Milton, William and Richard Watkins. She leaves two sons Rondell Watkins and Laron Brown; four sisters, Ann Barnett, Valerie and Geneva Watkins and Frances Westmoreland: brother, John Watkins; two granddaughters; one grandson; and four great-granddaughters, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles and friends.
