Reverend Gregory M. Dougherty, 70, passed away on December 25, 2022. Funeral services will be 12 noon on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2636 Virginia Avenue. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday also at the church.
Gregory leaves a loving family to cherish his memory; wife – Mary Dougherty and step-daughters, Michele Knox, Dana Knox; sons: Greg Dougherty, Jr., Channing Dougherty, Harry Watkins, Carrington Dougherty; mother – Mrs. Ermon Jean Dougherty; siblings – Michael (Barbara) Dougherty; Amelia Kay Dougherty; Frederick Jay (Diedre) Dougherty; aunts – Willie Louise Rucker, Elaine Francis & Pearline Francis; nephew – DaJuan (Lacy) Dougherty; niece – Treneese Hughes; and a host of cousins, great nephews, great nieces, ministers, singers, and friends of the family.
