Jo Ella Moran, 92, passed away on January 27, 2025. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a retiree of General Electric. Services will be Friday, February 7, 2025 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in New Albany National Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chester Moran; son, James R Hurrigan; three brothers; Thomas, Leon and Hillary Edlen; and one sister, Lucille Mitchell. She is survived by her son Raymond Hurrigan; daughter, Linda Hackett and son-in-law, Jesse Hackett; sisters, Mable Reed and Elizebeth Pool; daughters Barbara Ray and Willie Girton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
