Wells, Joe Louis Jr., 62, passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2017. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Wells; children, Anisha Lane (Elco Tchibozo-Fofo), and Joe L. Wells, III (Holly); mother, Allie Carr-Lee (Joe); step-mother, Gladys Wells; siblings, Keith Carr, Kevin Carr, Lester “Pee Wee” Clarkson, James Clarkson, Joe Clarkson, Joshua Wells, Theresa Carr (Montez), Paula Standard, Sharon Hardy, Bridgette Parker (Seymour), Kim Thompson (Jerome) and Pamela Watson; and four grandchildren. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
