Joseph Tyler Lee “Joe” Herbert, 61, passed away on March 30, 2023. Services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Flora; and his brother, Timothy.
Joe is survived by his wife, April Herbert; children, Kelley, Iyeshia, Temeka, and Calvin; four grandsons, Isaiah, Kelshawn, Shawnkel and Arkel; three granddaughters, Harmony, Kaliyah, and Camree; two brothers, Thomas (Jamie), Michael (Nancy) and a sister, Gilda (Gary); brothers-in-law, Stinson (Carlette), Lamark, William and sisters-in-law Regina, and Yolanda; 15 nieces; 13 nephews; nine grandnieces; eight grandnephews; and two great-grand nephews.
