La-Bruce was born June 28, 1979 to Sherrod S. Poole and the late Bruce E. Maneese in Louisville, Kentucky.
Co-Co attended church at a young age, at Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church then on to First Gethsemane Baptist Church with his family. Co-Co attended Fern Creek High School and worked many jobs. Although Co-Co didn’t have any kids of his own, he loved and treated All kids as if they were his, especially teaching them the value of a dollar and how much saving was important. Co-Co enjoyed being with family, especially attending his nieces and nephews school events and whatever they participated in (The Best Uncle Ever). He loved dogs and cartoons was his favorite.
