Lena Margaret Jones, 85, passed away on July 6, 2024.Services will be Friday, July 19, 2024 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 11 am at Gods Will Christian Fellowship, 3109 Thomas Lane. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents, Socrates and Katherine Gilbert Collins, her Aunt who raised her after the death of her mother, Annie Mae Crosby Belton. Her husband James “Buster” Jones, her son Jeffrey D. Belton and brother Marvin Collins. Lena leaves to cherish her memory her children- Christopher (Leticia) Crosby of Cincinnati, OH; Malcolm (Cheryl) Crosby, Quata Belton, and Bruce (Sharon) Crosby all of Louisville, Kentucky. Siblings: Floyd Lewis (Bettye) Collins, Sr of Saskatchewan, Canada and Louis Collins of Elizabethtown, KY. Seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Host of Nieces and Nephew, one niece who was truly dear to her heart, Carla Atkinson Joseph. Her special and dear friend of 60 years to the very end, Mrs. Clara Atkinson.
