Leslie James Herbert, 74, passed away on December 5, 2023. Services will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine Street.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents George and Jeanette Herbert; sisters, Waverly and Sarah; and brother, Charlie; and other family members.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his companion of 36 years, Mary Elaine Turner; his son, James Keelin; his daughter, Kimberly Moore; other children, Quante Hogan, Anthony Turner, Little Leslie, Corey and Casey Graham, Terry, Tanya, and Keisha Stribling; brother, George Herbert; aunts, Edith Thomas and Janita Jackson; nieces, Stephanie Wiley and Richtoya Herbert; and a host of other family members and friends.
