Linda Louise Ford Keith, 63, passed away on April 14, 2019. Services will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 with visitation beginning at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

Linda Louise Ford Keith was born on October 14, 1955, to the late James H. Ford Jr. and Shirley A. Ford. Linda was the 1st of 7 children.

Linda received Christ at and early age; again in 2015 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jamesetta Ferguson Senior Pastor of St. Peters United Church of Christ were she remained a church member. Linda enjoy church and being surround by her church family. Nothing or no one could keep her from serving the Lord!

Linda was united in marriage to Michael D. Keith Sr. at and earlier age. From this union Michael D. Keith Jr. & Cecili L. Keith was born. Due to Life changing events they took separate journeys. Linda later had two more children by Ulysses Rucker. Shivon E. Keith & Kenneth A. Keith. Then she soon met and shared 19 years with her life long companion Charles L. Appleton (Mr. Charles).

Linda was employed at Park Duvall for many years. She held several other jobs in between and later retired. Linda was born a leader. Lived a life full of adventures that she created for herself. Linda was courageous, persistent, & fierce. Heart of gold and a beautiful spirit. She enjoyed cooking, planting, meeting people and maintaining long lasting friendships. More then so, loved having a great time with family and friends, dancing and living her Best life with no regrets. Teaching us all how to face life head on, appreciate and embrace the good moments with GOD’S Mercy and Grace.

Linda went to her reward on April 14, 2019 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. James H. Ford Jr., brother Kenneth Ford and sister Robin A. Ford Stewart.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories and to continue her legacy her children, Michael Keith, JR. (Andrea), Cecili Weaver, Shivon Keith, and Kenneth Keith; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Precious M. Ford-Jordan; brothers, Cornelius Ford (Cordelia), James C. Ford, and Bruce Ford (Carolyn); Delmar M. Porter Sr. (Who she loved like a son); Lennetta M. Fortney (Who she loved like a daughter); her companion, Charles L. Appleton; and a host of extended family and friends. She will be missed by all!
