Rev. Nathaniel M. Brown II, affectionately known as “PeeWee,” 64, passed away on August 12, 2025. Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church, 1620 Anderson St. Louisville, KY.
Rev. Brown II leaves behind his devoted wife, Christine Brown; his sons, Demarcus Everett, Devonte Brown, JaQuan Brown (Tania), and Jordan Brown; his daughters, LaTasha Mitchell, Laquesha Weatherspoon, Shemaeka Shaw, LaTara Ford, and Shawna Jackson; brothers, Gregory Brown, Dwayne Brown (Lorna); sister, Jessica Brown; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends; and his loyal emotional support dog, Reese Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Nathaniel M Brown III, a sister, Margaret Cross, and many beloved spiritual mentors.
Rev. Nathaniel M. Brown II lived a life of purpose, service, and song. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched with his words, music, and unshakable faith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
