Tennyson, Nathaniel Sr., 72, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He is survived by his son Nathaniel Tennyson, Jr.; siblings, Rev. James (Doris), Orlander, Dwight, George, Jerome, and Linda Tennyson; companion, Sharon Gaskin; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12 Noon Saturday, September 3, 2016 with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Golden Star Baptist Church, 115 Steedly Drive. Interment: Green Meadows Cemetery.
