Norma Ruth Gober, 84, passed away on January 9, 2024. Services will be Friday, January 19, 2024 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Little Flock Baptist Church, 1030 S. Hancock St. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

Norma was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved worshipping and serving with her family and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Gober, Sr.; her two sons, Ulysses Gober Jr., and Terry Gober, Sr.; her Grandson, Tyreese Gober; her parents, Olen Smith and Grace Richmond-Smith; her siblings, Leo Richmond- Smith (Mary), George Johnson, Mary Williams (John), Robert Smith, Dan Smith; and her brother-in-law, Willie Yancey.

Norma is survived by her children, Dandra Gober, Kim Gober-Anderson (Bruce), and Alonzo Gober; her sister, Delores Yancey (Willie); sister-in-law, Ann Hagquist-Smith (Dan); daughters-in-law, Krystal Gober, Mary Howard, and Kendis Dave; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Norma will truly be missed.
