Patricia A. Thornton, 75, passed away on February 24, 2025. Services will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Taylortown A.M.E. Zion Church, 10901 Ballardsville Road. Interment will be in Pewee Valley Cemetery East.
Patricia A. Thornton was born to the late Louander Thornton, Lily Mae Thornoton. She departed this life on February 24,2025.
Patricia attended Peewee Valley Elementary School, and Eastern High School in Louisville, Kentucky. Patricia A Thornton was a Loving and devoted woman, Mother and grandmother. She cherished her family. and the Lord, she dedicated her life to Christ and exemplified kindness, wisdom, humor. Her strength fuels the family. Patricia Children and Grandchildren were the love of her life. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, and daugther.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many loving cousins, family and friends. Each of them holds a special place in her heart. Patricia found joy in sharing scripture with loved ones and often set aside moments to discuss it with Grandchildren. Those moments became treasured memories that have made an ever-lasting impression on their hearts.
