Louisville – Phillip “Phil” Morris Cox, Sr., 74, passed away on March 5, 2021. He was a Deacon at St. Stephen Baptist Church, retiree of Kelly Fabricators, and U.S. Marine Veteran. He is survived by his wife Sarah Cox, children, Jasper Briscoe (Dana), LaTanya Badu (BossMan), Earlene Williams, Geraldine Williams, Phillip Cox, Jr., Elie Williams (Hope), Katina Spence (Jaron), Rodney Cox, Darlene Franklin (John), Phillip Cox, III (Joann), Valencia Cox (Antonio), and Angel Cox; sisters, Elsie Edwards and Edith Fowlkes; 38 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, March 13th with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 12 Noon at Eastern Star Baptist Church (Annex), 2400 Howard St. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
