Robert Calvin Brightwell, Jr., 65, passed away on August 4, 2020. Services will be Wednesday, August 26, 2020 with visitation beginning at 12 noon and funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine Street. He leaves to cherish to his loving memory his loving wife of 30 years Irene Brightwell, children Latricia Brightwell-Wilson (Cedric), Robert Brightwell III, Tricole Brightwell, Shanelle Brightwell, Adrian Abernathy, George Abernathy (Kim), Venus Abernathy, Ireka Abernathy; sister Sharon Clay (Steve); brother Michael Brightwell (Mindy) and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a special niece in Makayla Clay as as well as a host of loving friends and church family.
