Robert Lee Thornton “Bobby”, 70, passed away on January 23, 2025. Services will 11 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2025 at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive with interment will Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, also at the church.
Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Jeanette. Bobby is survived by his mother, Virginia Garner; his wife, Margaret Devoe Thornton; sons, Andre. L Thornton, Robert Thornton, Jr.; daughter, Virginia Marie Devoe Thornton; one granddaughter, Kayla Nicole Thornton; his brothers, Micheal, Greg (Lisa), Russell (Monica); one sister, LaKeisha; and aunt, Carrie Thornton; along with a host of cousins and friends. He was also loved by his Devoe family.
