Freeman, Reverend Ruffin Van Carl, III, “Butch”, 56, passed away on October 12, 2014. He was an Associate Pastor at Green Street Baptist Church and an Information Technology Specialist. He is survived by his loving wife Anna Marie Freeman; sons, Ruffin V.C. Freeman, IV (Carl), and Anderson J. Freeman; brothers, Mansel, Willie, Byron, and Terry Freeman; step-sisters, Regina and Katherine Hawkins. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at his church, 519 E. Gray Street. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.
