Thomas Edward Edison, 81, passed away August 8, 2019. A Navy veteran and Deacon of New Zion Baptist Church, he worked until his retirement at General Electric. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Edison; daughters, Lisa Ramsey and Pamela Edison and son, William Edison; sister Brenda Early; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, followed by the funeral at 12 noon at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Drive. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.
