Obituaries

William Henry Thompson, 81, passed away on August 25, 2024. Services will be Saturday, September 7, 2024 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at First Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1159 Algonquin Pkwy. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

William is survived by his wife Patricia Thompson; daughters, Shirley Swain, Anita Thompson, Tonika Thompson, Theresa Leslie; sons, William Thompson, Antonio Thompson, and Benjamin Leslie; sisters, Doris Abernathy, Margaret Payne, Clara Carter, Hazel Smith, Arnetha Hardin, and Tasha Borner; brothers, David Smith, Larry Smith, and Victor Thompson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
