Zion Mekhi Burns, 16, passed away on July 30, 2024. Services will be Friday, August 9, 2024 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at First Congregational Baptist Church, 3810 Garland Avenue.
Zion leave to cherish his memories, his mother LaDonna Burns, father Rickie Irvin, his godmother Kim Harris, his stepfather Garry Houston, his son Zymir Burns, his son’s mother Ja’Ziah Pittman, his sisters Chynna Burns, TimMya Cross, Aaliyah Grigsby, Natalya Houston, Nakayla Houston, Rihanna Harrison, Rosa’Zaee Irvin, Regdreka Grider and Kandy Baines (big Dawg), his brothers Shaun Moore, Ramone Martin, Dimetrius Barlow Jr (Screech), Mikeal Hargrove, his two grandmothers Bunnie Richie (Johnny) and Kaye Houston (Garry Houston Sr.), a special cousin Darnell Bell Jr., his best friend JaMaruis Young, seven lovely nieces, three handsome nephews, and a host of aunties, uncles, cousins and a few close friends.
