Harry V. Jones

Harry V. Jones, 89, passed away on October 9, 2020. Services will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 with visitation from 10 a.m. – 12 Noon at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street. Graveside Service will be held immediately following visitation at Evergreen Cemetery with entombment to follow.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories his loving sons; Bruce S. Jones (Elizabeth), Virgil Fitzpatrick (Donna) his loving daughters; Vicky Boyette, Benita Hughes, Fourteen (14) Grandchildren, Twenty-Seven  (27) Great-Grandchildren, and One (1)  Great Great-Granddaughter, One brother; Robert Anderson (Charlene) from Gallo, Ohio, Three (3) sister in laws; Sadie Welch-Sistrunk,  Loviet (Pee-Wee) Jones, and Nelia Dotson, Two (2) Brother in Laws; Willie J. Bonner and James Bonner, Jr., a very special friend, Jean Coleman,  nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. In addition, he leaves his extended families; J. W. Elliott (Pee Wee), John Powell, The Edmondson’s, Cooper’s, Smith’s, French’s, Browns’ and the neighbors of the block in which he resided.
