Shelia Lockhart Shelia “Patti” Lockhart was born to the late Albert Lockhart, Sr. and Jeanette Davis-Lockhart on December 12, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Norton’s hospital. She received her diploma from Jefferson County Public School in Louisville, Kentucky and was an United States Army veteran. Shelia accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated her life to Christ in 2019 at Southeast Christian Church during baptismal services at Landmark of Iroquois. Shelia was employed in the manufacturing industry until she became disabled in 2011. Shelia was affectionately called “Patti”, momma, and grandma by those near and dear. She truly lived life with her friends and family, loved her children, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing puzzles, playing BINGO, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, celebrating any occasion especially birthdays and Halloween, talking fashion, and dressing up no matter where she was going. Her smile lit up any room and she was definitely the one “in charge”. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lamicron Lockhart, sister, Denise Lockhart, and brother, Jeff Talton. Shelia leaves to cherish her memory, son, Barry Lockhart; daughters, Sherrita Thomas (Eugene), Cheyenne Cooksey (Deron); brothers, Albert Lockhart, Jr, King Davis (FL), Willie Davis (GA); sisters, Alma and Janice Davis (GA); five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones. The Lockhart family wish to thank the extended Lockhart and Goff family for constant love and care over the years. |
