Rev. Gregory F. Smith

Rev. Dr. Gregory Franz Smith, 69, the Pastor of Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church, passed away (due to COVID19 complications) on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  He is survived by his wife, Tanya Smith; three children, Brandon Allen (Kiabe Supuwood-Allen), Caitlin Smith Christian (Jayce Christian) and Imani Smith; his brother Victor Smith (Mae), and four grandchildren. The late Rev. Smith will lie in state at the church, 2203 Dixie Highway, for public viewing on Friday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be private and may be viewed at 1 p.m. Friday on the Facebook page of “Rodgers Awkard Lyons.” Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
