George Malone, Sr.

George Malone, Sr., “Spook”, 77, passed away on February 1, 2023. Services will be Friday, February 17, 2023 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

George is preceded in death by his mother, Sallie Mae Malone, father, Albert Malone Sr, special friend, Loretta Malone, daughter, Annette Sellers, and sister, Wilma Gibson.

George is survived by his eight children, Monesa Woods, Bennie Southard, Marcella Dillion, Geoffrey Anthony Malone, George Malone Jr, Kelly Underwood, Jordan Lasley, and Sharita Malone; 25 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, his brother, Albert “Tommy” Malone Jr, and a host of nieces and nephews.
