Wanda Burbridge

Wanda Burbridge, 79, passed away on February 20, 2023. Visitation begins 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 W. Magazine Street, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memories; Her Daughters; Octavia Jones (Paul), Donna Ford (Don). Her Son Jesse Penick. Her Brother Leon (Kay)Penick. Granddaughters; Ebony Taylor, Latisha Scott (Iroqouise), Kayla Groves, and Jazmin Penick. Great-Granddaughters; Alize Jones,  Tanaysha Penick, Dinyiah Scott, and Zaylee Penick, Bonus Granddaughters; Lashonda Whiteside, and Givannai Lusco. Grandson Demetrius Penick Sr. Great-Grandsons Javonte Miller, Demetrius Penick Jr, Tramaine Jones, King Penick, Aiden Scott, and Ryan Lusco. Niece Renée Penick; and  Nephew Michael Penick. She had special relationships with Karen Groves and Javon Curry as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
