Michael A. Jones

Michael Anthony Jones, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones. Michael grew up in Louisville, a city he loved and never left. He was a die-hard University of Louisville Fan. He graduated from Doss High School. Michael was a phenomenal chef and loved cooking and eating good food. He worked at Parkland, Airmark and various catering companies. Michael will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lois Ann Jones whom he took care of and loved deeply. He is survived by one daughter Mahaginy Martin and one son Michael Anthony Jones. His grandchildren whom he loved dearly include; Elijah Martin, Eden Martin, Micah Martin and Millie Martin. Michael had two brothers, Ronald Jones (Teresa) and Dontez Matthews. His sisters include Latrice Gibbs (Terrance) and Shawvella Diouf. Michael was also blessed to have the love and support of his amazing significant other, Melissa Ishmael and her daughters Amber Hall and Sarah Vaughn. Michael also had a best friend named Stella’ Mar Towns.

In addition to the above mentioned family and friends, these are his nieces and nephews which he loved; Kamaria Chaney, Nyasha Jones, Arriontae Blakey, Michael Gibbs, Makayla Gibbs,Deandrose Hardy and James Tobin.

The family requests all of Michael’s loved ones to join them (dressed in red and black) in celebrating Michael’s beautiful life at Moore Temple Church of God in Christ 2315 West Broadway Louisville, Kentucky 40222 on June 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
