George Johnson

Johnson, George, 74, passed away on June 21, 2015. He was an Associate Minister at New Zion Baptist Church and Director of the Prison Ministry for more than 30 years. He was also a retiree of PNC Bank. He is survived by his wife Karen Johnson; children, George, Jr. (Cassandra), Samona, Sharon, Michelle, Rochelle, and Charice Johnson; one brother, Donnie Reed (Renee), two sisters, Brenda Lawson, Jensette Reed; and 14 grandchildren. Visitation will be noon Saturday, June 27, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at his church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
