Susan H. Butler

Susan H. Butler, 75, passed away on December 29, 2024. Services will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Sue is preceded in death by her father Leroy Hunter; son, Deontae Butler; daughters, Daynette Butler and Jennetta Gordon. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Jennetta Bardston; daughter, LaTonya Locke (Timothy); sons, Lamont Butler Jr “Weegie” (Dea), and Demond Butler (Erica); eight grandchildren, Ashlee, LaTonya, Lamondre, LaChara, Sean, Lil Demond, Lil Deontae, and Tati; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves a special cousin Wendell  Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
