Walter L. Kelly

Walter Lee Kelly, 53, passed away on January 4, 2025. Services will be Friday, January 17, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr., Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Walter was a big man with an even bigger heart. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Affectionately called “Big Walt”, he is survived by: his cousin Polly (Anita Thomas) and her children who loved him dearly. In addition, his beloved friends Adrian Leavell, Rob Bundley and Tim Geary, and all other family members and friends, especially those in his Portland neighborhood.
