Robert E. Bentley

Robert Edward Bently, 71, passed away on January 24, 2025. Services will be Monday, February 3, 2025 beginning with visitation at 1 p.m. and funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

Robert is survived by his cherished eight grandchildren, Maria, Britney, Stacy, Sharon, Rachel, Robert Jr., Boston, and Jack Bentley; his devoted daughter-in-law, Jessica Bentley; his older brother, Tom Bentley; and his younger sister, Sharon Hardin. Following the passing of his son, our father, in 2020, Grandpa Robert transcended the role of a grandparent, becoming a father figure who guided us with unwavering love and kindness.
