Octavia Patton

Octavia Patton, 50, passed away on April 4, 2025. Services will be Monday, April 14, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home, 951 S. Preston Street.

Octavia also known as “Ockie” was a mother of three children. She was a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and a Caregiver for over 20 years. Ockie also worked at The UPS Store with her sister “Boobie” this last year. Ockie lived her life as she pleased, and she LOVED her children and grandchildren dearly.  She also LOVED her family.

Octavia is survived by her children, McKenzy Bell, Donta Patton (Tinisha), and Tamara Patton; fiancé, Norman Wright; and 11 grandchildren, Anatasia, RayShawn, Arie, McKenzy, Octavia, Kingston, Devon, Gaia, Anaia, Devyn, and Donta, Jr.
