Marlon L. Morris

Marlon Lee Morris, 51, passed away on July 27, 2025. Services will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine Street. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Marlon was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Ann Morris and grandfather James Morris; grandfather Jesse Lee Miller and grandmother Bertha Mae Porter; his mother, Deborah Ann Morris and father Jerry Lee Porter.  He will be truly missed and his memory will be cherished by his brothers, Damon Morris, Montez Morris; nephew, Montez Morris Jr.; sister, Ronisha Briscoe; niece, Mi’cha Q. Nicks; and a host of aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
