Gaston L. Edison

Gaston Lamont Edison, 74, passed away on August 10, 2025. Services will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 beginning with visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 12 noon at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 1509 Magazine Street.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gaston Edison; Mother Mildred Edison-Gatewood, and brother Steven Edison. He is survived by his wife Essie Edison and 11 children. Three sisters; Gail Duncan, Valarie Edison, Marla Edison-Hutchinson. Three brothers; Kenneth Edison(June), Hans Edison, Glenn Edison. One aunt; Alice Coleman, as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
