Elizabeth N. Brown Long

Brown, Elizabeth N. Long “Liz”, 95, passed away on February 26, 2017. She was a retired JCPS teacher and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. “Liz” was a member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and former member of The Moles and Amigas Siempre Bridge Club. She is survived by her children, Ann E. Long and Ron “Sao” Long; grandchildren, Clarence Benboe, Jr. (Venita), Alafia Long (Natasha), Amram Long, Alicia and Alma Awkard; stepchildren, Cynithia Lowery (Charles), Vickie Hansberry (Morris), Angie Richardson (Mack), Theodore Brown III (Denise), and April Rice; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, with the funeral service following at 12 noon at her church, 1501 Louis Coleman, Jr. Dr. Interment will be in Cave Hill Cemetery
