Carrie Mae Tyus

Tyus, Carrie Mae,70, passed away, May 29, 2017. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Carolyn L. Ford (Bruce), Wanda West (Aaron), Verna Hunt (Kendrick) and Michael Tyus; her siblings, Rosa Russell, Willie DeHaven, Ernestine and Frank L. Tyus; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and her companion, Gary Martindale. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday with the funeral services scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at her church, 1831 Bolling Ave. Burial: Green Meadows Cemetery
