Leon Southerling

Southerling, Leon, 80, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife Marillyn B. Southerling; children, Beverly Parker, Leon Southerling, Jr., Kimberly Pearsall (Billy), Karen Southerling, Alfonso Williams, Andre Williams, Anthony Williams, Murrel Binford (Terry), Darryl Hickman (Gerarde), and Ronelle Southerling; brothers, Ed Southerling, Jr. and Jay Southerling, Sr.; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church. Interment: Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
