Simon, Alex, Jr., 94, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his sons, Louis, Alex III, Chris, and Jermaine Simon; daughters, Brenda Austin, Brinda Guy, Barbara and Edna Simon; 33 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 12 noon at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive Interment: Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
