Reverend Ruth Cecilia (Hobby) Miller

Miller, Reverend Ruth Cecilia (Hobby), 59, passed away on July 12, 2014. She was an associate minister of Riverview Baptist Church and former director for the Lydia House. She is survived by her children Wilbur, Tracy, and Mary Browning, and Jamal Oliver, Sr.; siblings, Beverly Ubani, Frederick Hobby, Kenneth Hobby, and Bernard Pickett; and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19 followed by the funeral service at noon at Bates Memorial Annex, 728 E. Lampton Street. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons.
