NICHOLS, Bishop Luke C. 86, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Survivors: his loving wife, Violet E. Nichols; 4 daughters: Janet K. Lewis, Kathy R. Clark (Dennis), Vicki L. Hill (Erkins), Celeste Y. Nichols; 3 sons: Michael E. Nichols (Linda), Marc L. Nichols (Kelly), Byron L. Nichols; 2 step daughters: La-Nita Gant (Howard), Nicohl Collier (Geno); 3 sisters: Dorothy Bell, Eddie Mae Hampton (Jay), Fanola Hampton (LeRoy); sister-in-law, Vernez Nichols; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation: Friday, 10 AM followed by funeral service at 11 AM at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman, Jr. Drive. Interment with military honors in KY Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
