Leroy Edward Russell, Jr.

Russell, Leroy Edward, Jr., 77, passed away on January 18, 2015. He was a member of Newburg Church of Christ and retiree of General Electric. He is survived by his children, Laron K. Russell (Debbie), Kevin Russell, Vanessa Brooks, Damon Candler, Sr. (Gabrielle), Kymberli Johnson Knox, and Christopher “Shonn” Russell; siblings Ocie Sharpley (Wayne), Orell McCarther (Mack), Doris Ann Newton (Dale), Leon Russell (Brenda), Charles Russell (Pat), and James “J.W.” Russell (Cherrie); and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at his church, 4700 E. Indian Trail. Interment: Louisville Cemetery.
