Stephen Lee Edelen

Stephen Lee Edelen, 59, passed away on December 16, 2019. Services will be Monday, December 23, 2019 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. and funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.

Steve (Cool) is survived by Barbara his wife of 23 years; four daughters, Angela Johnson Bell (Clemon), Louisville, Kentucky, Latoya Edelen, Louisville, Kentucky, Stephanie Edelen, Bardstown, Kentucky, and Rone Steagall; and two sons Dewayne and Tobias Steagall, all of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by two sisters, Allison Edelen and Annie Young (Rob) of Lebanon, Kentucky; one brother, Kevin Stanford; a niece, Lanika Edelen; nephew, Anton Steagall; one great-niece, Latasia Johnson; great-nephew, Taylor Johnson; mother-in-law, Ester Steagall; sister-in-law, Shirley Steagall; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Fannie Johnson Edelen.
