Louisville – Akeripa Christopher “Chris” Palaylay Sr., 38, passed away on January 29, 2022 surrounded by his family and close friends. He is survived by his wife RaShawn (Easton) Palaylay; children, DeMarcus Meriwether, A’rayah, and Akeripa “CJ” Jr.; mother, Julia Wortham; siblings, Oscar Wortham, II, Serina Leaupepe (Ifi), Roslynn Wortham, and Santasia Qasid (Aaqil); and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral will be 12 noon Saturday, February 12, 2022 at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
