Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Some people are just born special. They leave their mark on all they meet and all those blessed to know them, can't help but love them. My Aunty Mimi (Amelia J. Owens) was one of those people. I could always depend on her and knew that when I came up the back stairs to her home, I was always welcomed and I was loved. I miss her terribly and will love her forever. My memories of her are imprinted on my heart. Wishing my family peace from knowing that she loved them and that God will provide comfort in our time of sorrow. I love you. Love, TaLeiza Calloway-Appleton (Your Niece)

To the Family of Amelia Owens, On behalf of the Michigan Chapter of the Jasper Reunion, we send on condolences to our brother and cousin, Doug Owens and the extended families of Jaspers. We loved Amelia and will miss her laughter, sense of humor, and willingness to share love with everyone she came in contact. God's word reminds us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. We believe we will see her in the morning. Please accept our love and support as prayers are continually being offered on your behalf. With Loving support, The Michigan Chapter of the Jasper Reunion Nolan P. Smithers
