Obituaries

Mansfield, Anna Pearl Brents, 95, passed away on January 1, 2016. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, member of Liberty District Association of the General Association of Baptists, and former member of First Baptist Church of Glasgow, KY.  She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing her children Barbara Briggs, Margery Hines, Flora Smotherman (James), Shirley Mansfield (Caregiver), Betsy Brawner (Wallace), and Russ W. Mansfield (Nikki); sisters, Willie Louise Rucker (James), Lucille O’Bannon, and Ermon J. Dougherty; grandchildren, Patricia Mansfield, Robin Shields, Ethel Roach, Sheenita Brawner, Shatika Brawner, Gabriella Mansfield, Chris Franklin, and William R. Mansfield, II; and a host of great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.  Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 611 S. Lewis Street, Glasgow, KY. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 a.m. at the church. Visitation will also be held Friday 4 – 8 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church 1501 Louis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, KY.
